The Early Years In Education Society has awarded 5 grants of up to $1000 to members in 2009.

The Criteria

  • Applicant must be a current 2010 EYES member (grants are in the member’s name)
  • The applicant should be willing to show evidence of how the grant money will be spent eg receipts and statements.
  • Applicant to work in the area of early childhood education
  • Winning applicants must be mounting a static display OR present a workshop at the EYES conference.
  • The application to be 1-2 pages.
  • The applicant must provide an electronic version of the project for our website, plus digital photographs.

The application must contain:

  • Brief statement about the applicant within their current work environment.
  • Brief statement about the work environment such as the demographics and school ethos.
  • The expected outcomes within the context of the Curriculum Framework.
  • The strategies.
  • Budget allocation.
  • How the grant would enrich your school community
