Emotional Development and Well Being
Alarmingly, research and observation are showing us that depression in children even the very young, is on the rise. In response to this trend, the Federal Government has funded the ‘KIDS MATTER PROJECT’ to the tune of $13 million, and in August 2009, an early childhood component was added.
EYES is pleased to present a workshop for all early childhood educators interested in developing emotional resilience and promoting a sense of wellbeing in young children. At the end of the presentation a Q&A session has been allocated, to address any concerns you may be experiencing in your classroom. To provide a more detailed and thorough answer, you may wish to give prior notice of your question, with details in the space provided at the end of the registration form.
