Philosophy

The society recognises that education is a life long process. It is acknowledged that children in the 4-8 age group experience a distinct period of growth and development that has particular implications for Early Childhood philosophy and practice.

Early Childhood education is developmental and provides for the child’s physical, social, emotional, intellectual and cultural development.

Planning of each child’s education is based on informed and purposeful observation, appropriate curriculum and outcomes achieved in partnership with all stakeholders.
