2009 CONFERENCE

FEEDBACK FROM DELEGATES AND PRESENTERS

Dear EYES Conference team

Many thanks for your assistance with the organisation and running of our Spring Conference this year.  From my perspective as a delegate, the conference organisation was professionally done with sessions easy to access and find, and the program on time and smoothly run.  The EYES conference is easily the most valuable professional learning that I access each year and this year was no exception.

I look forward to the 2010 conference.

 warm wishes

I have been coming to the EYES conference as a presenter for quite a while now. They have all been a pleasure, this year no exception. Great participation rates, with enthusiastic and generous delegates.

I learn so much at EYES, there are always wonderful speakers and this gives me a chance to reflect on a variety of issues. It’s not all about presenting! The organisation this year was very smooth, and flexible enough to cater for the way people are. Some presenters need time to get their points across, others are more aware of time restraints. It all becomes possible with a flexible attitude. The Sheraton of course was a delight. Their levels of professional support was excellent. I especially like the little, personal, light hearted moments, such as Kathleen Comber doing a finger play in miniature! The conference is joyous, responsive and wonderful.

Just a quick note to say how wonderful the conference was.  I think it was one of the best, well done to you and the committee.  I was so happy with all my concurrent sessions and have come away with some great ideas - isn’t Louise Porter wonderful, if we could all have a school psych like her - half the problems in school would be solved.  It was so nice to catch up with you and Joy too.  Joy’s presentation was just amazing, I had tears in my eyes so many times, she is just such a treasure.

Hope you didn’t have to stay back too long, the organisation of the event from an attendees perspective was spot on - very impressive.
